New to Church?

welcome new to church

Welcome! Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life - we hope the website helps you find out what you want to know about Newport Pagnell Baptist Church
Key info about the church...
When & where does the church meet?
serviceThe church meets every Sunday for two services.

The first service starts at 9.15am and is the more traditional and reflective of the two services. It finishes at around 10.30 when we grab a tea or coffee and a chat. It's also time to catch up with those arriving for the second service.

The second service starts at 11.00am but you're welcome to join us anytime from 10.30am for tea and coffee. This is the more contemporary of the two services and the one that many families come along to as they are plenty of children's activities on offer. This service usually finishes at about 12.15am.

We meet at Lovat Hall off Silver Street in the heart of the town. The address is:

Silver Street,
Newport Pagnell,
MK16 0EJ
(also known as Lovat Hall)

You can see a map on our contact us page

There is parking available on the site.

What to expect when I visit the church

foodYou can expect a warm welcome, great worship, an impacting sermon and a friendly bunch of people gathering to learn more about God.

Also tea, coffee and biscuits!

What happens to the kids at church?

We have a fantastic programme for the kids at church for ages 0-18.

  • Creche for babies under 3 starts from 11.00am and  is run by volunteers so you can stay if you'd like or drop off and enjoy the service in peace!
  • Sunday School; Bubbles (3-5's), Splash (5's to 8's) and Extreme (8's to11's) all meet together at 11.00am for fun energetic songs and games before splitting into their groups for a quieter time of craft and discussion.
  • Pacers (11's to 18's) also meet from 11.00am together for the first part of the service.

crecheDon't worry, as you arrive you will be welcomed and directed by our team of pastoral assistants, but if you're at all unsure, we are a super friendly bunch, so just ask someone nearby!

Children can expect to have fun playing games, and learning about God in a relevant way.

Is there a dress code?
No!
Just wear something comfortable!

Will I be made to feel uncomfortable?

jubileeNot at all!

We will be welcoming, and you will not be forced to do anything you are not comfortable doing. We want you to feel right at home and enjoy the service. Do join us for a drink and snacks after the service to get to know some people from the church.
